List position: where the firm lands on the Denton comparison for that trade at default settings (or at a typical budget), among firms without a license problem. It's a match score from public records, not a quality rating.
Filed value is what was written on the permit, not a quote or final bill; a usual value needs 5 or more priced permits in the trade. Some jobs never need a permit.
License
- Status on the license recordNo license to match: the license file we hold for Denton, TX covers other trades, and window & door replacement firms here almost never match it (1 of 63). TDLR licenses A/C and electrical contractors; plumbers are licensed by the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners, irrigators by TCEQ, and Texas does not license general contractors, builders, roofers or fence companies, so this is often expected — ask for their license number and check it with the right state agency. Ask the firm which license or registration it holds and check it with the issuing office.
