How these numbers are made

Source: City of Nashua GIS, Building_Permits_for_AGOL map service (NashIMS building permits, last three years) and the Building_Permits_June_2025 snapshot layer, read 20 Oct 2026. We count permits issued October 2024 through September 2026; denied and withdrawn permits are left out. The file carries no usable permit status, so it can't say which permits were finished, so no finished share is shown.

Building, electrical, plumbing and mechanical permits the City of Nashua Building Safety Department issues inside the city. The city publishes only the last three years of permits as map layers; older permits are not public in bulk.

  • The city's permit layers name no contractor, so there are no contractor lists, rankings or firm pages for Nashua.
  • The layers have no job value, no final inspection date, no status beyond issued and no ZIP code, so we show no costs, no time to final, no finished share and no ZIP pages.
  • The city's type of work is cut to 30 characters in the file; trade permits (mechanical, electrical, plumbing only) are counted for homes and businesses alike.

Counts are permits, not jobs: one job can need several permits. Nobody paid to be on this page and nobody can. Sources and definitions →
