How these numbers are made

Source: Town of Timnath GIS, Building Permits 2020 through 2024 (ArcGIS layer BP2020thru2024), with the town's 2025 certificates of completion and occupancy, read 21 Oct 2026. We count permits issued January 2023 through December 2024; denied and withdrawn permits are left out.

Building, trade, roofing, solar, fence and demolition permits issued by the Town of Timnath Building Department for property in the town, east of Fort Collins in Larimer County. Fort Collins, Windsor and unincorporated Larimer County run their own permit offices and are not in this file.

  • The town's permit layer is a one-time export covering 2020 through 2024 (last edited January 2025), and the town publishes no permit list for 2025 or later, so the window ends in December 2024.
  • Statuses are as of the January 2025 export. A permit still in progress then that appears on the town's 2025 list of certificates of completion and occupancy counts as finished on its certificate date.
  • Job values are the valuation on the permit. For new homes this is the town's building valuation, not the sale price.
  • Attached single-family homes (townhomes) count as new homes; a few multi-family buildings count as other.
  • Timnath is a small, fast-growing town: about 900 permits a year, a large share of them new homes in new subdivisions, so a few builders account for many permits.

Counts are permits, not jobs: one job can need several permits. Nobody paid to be on this page and nobody can. Sources and definitions →
