1,175 building permits were issued in the City of Oxford from May 2022 to April 2026, about 294 a year. HVAC permits lead with 258, then electrical (140). 62% were for homes. The city's file names contractors, but Oxford issues only a few hundred permits a year, so we don't rate, rank or profile firms from it: these pages show what was built and when.
Building and trade permits the City of Oxford issued inside the city limits. Oxford Township and the rest of Butler County are not in this file. Curb, sidewalk and street-cut permits, driveways and site modifications, zoning and change-of-use reviews are left out. The file holds no plumbing permits apart from gas lines, so plumbing barely appears here.
The permit file can't tell you who does good work. Ask for the contractor's license number and look it up at the Ohio eLicense licence lookup (Construction Industry Licensing Board), then ask the city whether they pulled the permit for your job.
