Building, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, irrigation, roofing and other construction permits the City of New Braunfels Development Services issues inside city limits, in both Comal and Guadalupe counties. Planning, platting, engineering, floodplain and inspection-request records are not counted.

Building, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, irrigation, roofing and other construction permits the City of New Braunfels Development Services issues inside city limits, in both Comal and Guadalupe counties. Planning, platting, engineering, floodplain and inspection-request records are not counted.

  • The city's file lists the contractor on most permits. The contractor table counts permits filed per firm; it does not rate, rank or compare their work, and there are no firm pages for New Braunfels.
  • The file has no declared job value, so we show no costs.
  • A final date is the date the city closed the permit. A permit the city left at Issued counts as open.
  • Lawn-irrigation permits, driveways, flatwork and signs count as other. Foundation repairs count as remodels and repairs.
  • The file has no ZIP column; ZIP codes come from the address where it ends in one (about 60% of permits).
